DeCourcy, who started in mid-October, is charged with crafting a broad communications strategy that includes internal and customer communications, the industry publication reported. Before the hire, the company’s director of communications primarily focused on media relations.
DeCourcy oversees a staff of four, a team that’s expected to grow.
DeCourcy has held senior communications positions at branding agencies, banks and other firms since 1997. On her LinkedIn page, she touted her work as a senior official at Cincinnati-based Fifth Third Bancorp in helping the bank’s stock rebound from $1.05 a share in 2009 to more than $17 a share in 2013.
