Fiorina, a former Hewlett-Packard CEO, is one of more than a dozen candidates seeking the Republican presidential nomination – but she’s far behind in polls. She’ll have to pick up significant support and do well in early primaries to be a contender by the time the Indiana primary rolls around next May.
But Ellspermann, a former business owner, said she believes Fiorina “has the background to grow our economy and lead our country.
“Carly brings a fresh, yet informed perspective to Washington,” Ellspermann said Monday in a written statement. “I believe Carly will place problem-solving before politics, a behavior Americans desire and deserve.”
Suzanne Jaworowski, the communications and government affairs director of Hallador Energy/Sunrise Coal, will serve as the other co-chair of Fiorina’s Indiana effort.
