IT firm plans to add up to 105 jobs in Broad Ripple

TCC Software Solutions, an IT services provider, said Friday that it is expanding its operations in Indianapolis, creating up to 105 jobs by 2019.

The business, which is minority owned, will invest $1.9 million to expand into a new facility at 1022 E. 52nd Street. The new location will allow the company to provide space for training facilities and group education classes.

 
TCC, which currently has 139 full-time employees locally, plans to hire project managers, system analysts, software developers, database administrators, information security professionals, network engineers and quality assurance staff. Positions are expected to offer salaries nearly double the state's average of about $41,000.
 
Founded in 1996, TCC provides services in such areas as mobile workforce software and lottery employee credentialing. The firm, which also operates an office in Maryland, was recognized by Inc. magazine as one of America’s fastest-growing private companies in both 2014 and 2015. It has had 91-percent growth over the past three years, with revenue reaching $25.2 million in 2014.
 
“As Hoosiers ourselves, it was important for us to grow TCC in our home state,” said Jim Pangallo, principal and owner of TCC. “While TCC could relocate and provide services in many different states, we prefer to work with the employer-friendly leaders within the state of Indiana and give back to our home through creating quality, high-paying positions for talented Hoosiers.”
 
IBJ reported last year that TCC had acquired the East 52nd Street property, which housed a delapidated warehouse, and planned to relocate operations there from the Landmark Center downtown. TCC bought the property from local businessman Turner Woodard. It last housed manufacturing operations of Bee Window, which left in early 2012.
 
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. offered TCC up to $1.5 million in tax credits and up to $50,000 in training grants based on the company’s job-creation plans. The incentives are performance-based, meaning the company is not eligible to claim incentives until workers are hired.
