Katina Powell, the former Louisville escort and stripper at the center of a scandal involving the University of Louisville’s men’s basketball program, will meet with the NCAA early next week, ESPN is reporting.

Powell’s attorney, Larry Wilder, told ESPN that Powell is also expected to turn over documents, including copies of her personal journals and phone records to the NCAA next week.

The NCAA declined to comment.

In her book, “Breaking Cardinal Rules: Basketball and the Escort Queen,” Powell says she helped provide women to strip for and have sex with Louisville basketball players and recruits during 22 parties from 2010 to 2014. Many of those parties took place at Billy Minardi Hall, an on-campus dormitory.

In her book—which was published by IBJ Book Publishing, a sister company of the Indianapolis Business Journal—Powell claimed former Louisville basketball staffer Andre McGee requested the strippers and prostitutes and organized the parties. Powell said McGee forked over thousands of dollars in exchange for the women’s stripping and prostitution services.

On Monday, five women filed an amended civil complaint in Jefferson County Circuit Court against Powell and IBJ Book Publishing claiming that Powell used their photos and two of their first names without their permission. The complaint said Powell’s book defamed them by implying they engaged in prostitution at the parties.

“In consideration of the fact that the Commonwealth is going forward and considering criminal charges against Ms. Powell, it is no longer in her best interest to forgo meeting with the NCAA and sharing all of the demonstrative evidence she has to support her position,” Wilder told ESPN.
