Hamilton County began accepting court documents online last July. Indiana's Supreme Court and Court of Appeals followed in November.
The state's Tax Court began accepting e-filings in January, and five counties—Clark, Shelby, Harrison, Madison and Henry—are now accepting e-filings.
State Supreme Court Justice Steven David, who's helping lead the e-filing push, said Indiana is "on the path to statewide implementation" of e-filing in all 92 counties by late 2018.
Electronic filing of all pleadings to pending cases will become mandatory in July for attorneys in all state appellate courts and Hamilton County's circuit and superior courts.
