Subscribe NowGreen Circle Health, a Pensacola, Florida-based provider of health care management and wellness platforms, announced Thursday morning that it will open a client services center in Carmel, creating up to 125 jobs by 2022.
The company said it will invest nearly $1 million to lease and furnish office space over the next five years, starting with a 1,000-square-foot office at 9640 Commerce Drive that opened on Jan. 1. Green Circle plans to add office space as its workforce grows. It currently has 25 employees across the country and has begun hiring for a variety of positions, including chief medical officer, nutritionist, wellness coaches, nurses and medical staff.
The client services center will provide remote health care and coaching for customers across the country, focusing in part on improving the coordination of care for chronic diseases. Through the tracking and analysis of users’ medical records and real-time health data, the wellness platform is designed to help people make informed decisions to lead healthier lives.
“It is essential in today’s modern, technologically driven society that employees have greater control over their medical information and the best available support to become responsible consumers of health services. To expand our business operations into Indiana is a powerful step for us in increasing customer relations and bringing jobs to local communities," Green Circle CEO Dinesh Sheth said in a statement.
"Carmel and the state of Indiana have a thriving ecosystem to support information and medical technology-driven companies like Green Circle Health.”
Green Circle was founded four years ago and last year introduced its web and mobile applications that allow users to manage their treatment plans, track real-time health vitals and participate in customized health and wellness challenges.
The company last year began offering its services to Medicaid recipients at a large managed care provider, and it recently secured a client with more than 80,000 employees,
The Indiana Economic Development Corp.offered Green Circle up to $1 million in tax credits and up to $131,250 in training grants based on its job-creation plans. The incentives are performance-based, meaning the company can't claim them until workers are hired.
