Larry Gigerich’s career has taken him from city government to not-for-profit (running the Indianapolis Economic Development Corp.) to the private sector (health care technology company RealMed Corp.) to his own company, Fishers-based Ginovus.
Ginovus, which he founded 15 years ago, helps clients such as manufacturers and distributors find the right location to open a new site or move their existing operation. His company looks at elements like tax rates, real estate costs and labor quality, then recommends options. It also can guide clients through the economic development incentive process to determine whether there’s anything local or state government can do to help Ginovus’ clients lower operating costs.
“I’ve been really fortunate to work with a lot of great people in all the settings I’ve been in and had great mentors along the way in the business community and government,” he said.•
