Leaving Ginovus late last week were Jay Walters, Jenny Massey, Suzanne Davis, Linda Williamson and Sara McGoun, according to an economic development professional familiar with the departures. Another Ginovus associate, Sue Scott, left recently to take a position in Chicago.
Based on information from Ginovus’ Web site, the exodus leaves the firm with no professional associates other than founder Larry Gigerich.
Bingham McHale confirmed the new practice, to be called Bingham Economic Development Advisors LLC, today. Gigerich did not return telephone calls.
Gigerich, who directed economic development under former Indianapolis Mayor Stephen Goldsmith, started the firm to focus on economic development consulting.
The new practice will focus on site selection, analysis, incentive procurement and fulfillment, as well as community development and planning.
Walters will be president of the new Bingham practice, with Davis and Williams serving as vice presidents.
It will be based at 8900 Keystone Crossing.
