  1. “City development staffers say in their analysis of the requests that the projects would not be economically feasible without the tax abatements. They recommend that the Metropolitan Development Commission approve the requests.” If this is true, why are the developers already building the facility? What happens if they get turned down, will the facility sit empty? It seems like it is already a done deal.
