According to the powers that be at IndyFringe, attendance for the 10-day event (which wrapped up on Sunday) was just about the same as last year (11,214).
The highest-grossing show was a home-grown one: ShadowApe Theatre Company's "Not a Peep," which opened with a strong audience already familiar with the group and grew thanks to positive word of mouth.
It was the first time ShadowApe produced a show for IndyFringe. Here's hoping the creative company will become a regular feature.
Also of interest: Three of the more popular Fringe performers from out of town are seriously looking into relocating to Indianapolis.
