Former Allison exec settles suit alleging bribery

A former China-based executive of Allison Transmission has agreed to drop a lawsuit that claimed the company won business by bribing foreign officials. But it's likely that the firm still must deal with scrutiny from the Department of Justice, according to one legal expert.

-Wells Fargo leased 14,115 square feet at 300 N. Meridian St.  The tenant was represented by John Crisp of Cassidy Turley. The landlord, University Park Associates LLC., was represented by Mike Napariu of REI Real Estate Services.

Key road projects await busy INDOT

The ongoing rehab of Interstate 465 will continue to be the biggest highway project in the metro area in 2011, but the rebuilding of an 11-mile segment on the west side could be all but finished by the end of the year—just when other significant highway projects will get under way in the metro area.

Serial robber strikes again

December 23, 2010

An armed man matching the description of a serial robber has hit a Fishers gas station yet again. Fishers Police were called to the Circle K at 96th Street and Allisonville Road around 4:30 a.m. Thursday on a report of an armed robbery. The clerk told police a masked man dressed head to toe in black showed a gun and demanded money. The robber got away with an unknown amount of cash and fled on foot. He was last seen running toward the Cedar Cove Apartments. Officers from four other departments helped set up a perimeter in the area, but only found the suspect's mask.
