  1. The pandemic. Is a precursor to sustaining life on a planet containing unsustainable atmosphere. Like any other culture, once we burn off one or two generations, the adjustment will become commonplace. Downtown businesses will evolve into more parks and other creative devices to honor in Balance are devices. this is the same as every other major evolutionary change like electricity and airplanes. In the long haul it’s probably best what has happened.

  2. The pandemic. Is a precursor to sustaining life on a planet containing unsustainable atmosphere. Like any other culture, once we burn off one or two generations, the adjustment will become commonplace. Downtown businesses will evolve into more parks and other creative devices to honor and alance our devices. this is the same as every other major evolutionary change like electricity and airplanes. In the long haul it’s probably best what has happened.

    1. “Unsustainable atmosphere” what is the oxygen is depleted? Please pontificate on that. Were you downtown Indianapolis pre 1980? If you were there at night you would be found there in the morning. The Pacer’s played in MSA in the 70’s and you didn’t linger around before or after the games.
In the long haul the mental health, suicide, alcoholism and drug use is going to impact society for years.

  3. People are feeling depressed and isolated working from home. Works for some, not for most. They’ll be back in offices downtown after pandemic is under control.

  4. As firms decide if they continue to occupy real estate or work remotely there ae some things to consider. Let start with Rolls Royce, global manufacturer of engines for jets. Those jets carry passenger to cities like Indianapolis for convention and trade shows. But if people arrive in Indianapolis and the hospitality district is vacant, deserted, no restaurant’s or night life those people have no desire to get on a jet that Rolls Royce manufactures. You have to realize the economy is fragile and inter-dependent. Rolls Royce not only provides jet engines they support infrastructure for people who use there products. No restaurant, bars and night life means no hospitality which means no jets. Extrapolate this out 6 degrees in all of these industries and at some point in time everyone is affected. So be careful what you ask for you might just get it.

When the propagandemic has accomplished it’s task, the continued decimation of the economy maybe worse that the disease.
