  1. While 2020 has been considered a lousy year, this is a great piece of news to end the year with! It has been way too long since there has been a “Hot Now” sight lit up in the Indianapolis area! (Yeah, I’m a Krispy Kreme fan and I admit it!)

  2. Are they moving into their old store at E 82nd St and Craig? The one that closed and became a Starbucks? They couldn’t make it the first time but maybe the doughnut market has changed since then. Lol

    1. I could be wrong but I believe that structure (6706 E 82nd St) was built as a Starbucks (one of the first with a drive-through in the country / Go Indy!). The new KK location is the former bank building in front of the mall.

    2. No, I was working on Craig St at the time the structure was being built. It WAS built as a Krispy Kreme and only became a Starbucks when KK had low sales and closed. Thank you for verifying where the new location will be as I couldn’t open the article.

    1. Yeah, no donut shop is 10x better than any other donut shop. I don’t know what people see in Longs, other than they’ve been indoctrinated to think it’s levels higher than it actually is. Same thing with Shapiro’s

    1. I thought I read that they were relaunching and/or revamping it. But – I’ve been thinking the same thing. Excited to see what they have planned.
