    1. The prophecy has be fulfilled. After a long haunting of the comments, Micah D’s soul can finally rest.

    2. Oh, I’m here Baby!!! They heard me!! It’s a Start!! We’re looking for way taller and much more all over the county!!!😁I’m on they Head!!!

  1. I really love reading Micah comments.IBJ should reach out to him and give him an entire section to explain what the city needs to do with the city county building, the old jail and city market as well as the help port downtown.Indy should seriously consider building up to be honest. Louisville is breaking ground on a project called One Park North. The renderings look pretty impressive. We surly can’t let our little neighbors to the south of Indy out do us.

  2. I love that it has height. But still looks like a giant Amazon box. Why do all of our apartment buildings have to be like a simple box? Are there no creative architects that can build some insets, a varied roofline or some aesthetic appeal?

  3. I love that it has height. But still looks like a giant Amazon box. Why do all of our apartment buildings have to be like a simple box? Are there no creative architects that can build some insets, a varied roofline or some aesthetic appeal? Maybe a curve here and there?

    1. Mark W — The article only shows one angle on this building. There are at least 3 distinct facade treatments on the taller section plus a 4th treatment for the short townhouse section. To my eye the juxtaposition of multiple facades isn’t 100% successful, but it hits most of your wants (complexity, balcony insets, varied roofline).

    2. Chris – Thanks for the additional elevations. I agree this does look a little better. It’s still just a big block box. Which right now looks out of place but with additional development nearby and the height this provides, won’t look as bad. 🙂 Still all for it though!
