  1. I respected that Mitch Daniels did not engage in the social wars and focused on the business of running the state government. But that was a lifetime ago in politics and now it is a very different world, and Mitch’s party is unrecognizable. He will get eaten alive by the social warriors and Trumpists.

    1. Not necessarily true, Robert F. I consider myself a social warrior because of the hollowing out of the American family at the hands of all the leftist misfits and sexually-confused folks railing against the conventional family structure that built our culture are /will destroy it if left unchecked. And Donald Trump did more to support and encourage the Right to Life than any Republican President in recent history so, yes, I support him, warts and all. Without the Right to Life, all other rights are moot points.

That said, I wholeheartedly agree with Nate Feltman’s premise and editorial, here…and as a Purdue alum, am proud of what Mitch Daniels has been able to accomplish at Purdue. I regret his leaving…but if he must and wants to, I hope Feltman’s pipe dream materializes.
