charges tried to hire a hitman to kill witnesses, including teenagers and an infant. On Thursday, new charges were filed by
the Johnson County prosecutor against 30-year-old Jonathan Hartman, who was arrested in April 2009. The youth volunteer at
a Greenwood Salvation Army church allegedly had sexual relationships with three teenage girls over the course of several years.
Authorities now say that one of Hartman’s former fellow inmates reported that Hartman tried to hire him to kill witnesses
who could testify against him. Hartman will be in court next week to face the new charges. Fox59 will have more at 4 p.m.
