Dawn Brancheau, 40, was killed in front of an audience Wednesday by a killer whale during a show at SeaWorld in Orlando.
The veteran whale trainer grew up in northwest Indiana. A witness said the whale jumped up and grabbed the trainer by the
waist, pulled her in and shook her violently.
