Tea Party rallying on tax day

April 15, 2010

Organizers of tax-day tea parties across the country expect thousands of demonstrators to participate in local rallies Thursday, including one in Indianapolis. The second annual Tax Day Tea Party outside the Indiana Statehouse kicks off at 3 p.m. with a meet-and-greet event with local, state and federal political candidates. The rally officially begins at 5 p.m. Nationwide, organizers want to project an image of peaceful people upset by big spending, high taxes and a burdensome federal government. Fox59 will have more at 4 p.m.
