Contracts
Wolf Technical Services Inc. has been awarded a $750,000 contract from the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers
to develop weigh-in-motion technology suitable for slow-moving passenger vehicles on rough roads.

RLTurner will partner with AH West Group LLC (a veteran owned business enterprise from Appleton, Wisc.)
to construct a $3.5 million dollar twenty-eight room hotel to be used by families of patients receiving medical care at the
VA Medical Center at 1481 West 10th St. in Indianapolis. The new hotel will be located at 2626 Cold Springs Road.

Resource Associates Corp. of Wyomissing, Penn. has contracted with Sue Zobrist and her firm, Zesources.

Fund-raising Results

Bethel United Methodist Church
and Sheltering Wings of Hendricks County received a total of 2,500
pounds of food and $5,000 as a result of Church Brothers Collision Repair’s Driving Down Hunger campaign.

Grants
Kathryn Morris received a $108,000 research grant from the National Science Foundation.

Bread Basket Pantry, Greater Danville Chamber of Commerce, In Your Backyard and Real Reflections
received a total of $30,000 from The Hendricks County Convention and Visitors Bureau.

Indiana Coalition Against Domestic Violence received $5,000 from Verizon Wireless.

Trusted Mentors Inc. received $10,000 from the Hoover Family Foundation.

Several Indiana organizations received a total of $3.5 million from the Ball Brothers Foundation.

In Recognition
Aviation Institute of Maintenance received the Diamond Award for Excellence from The U.S. Department of
Transportation Federal Aviation Administration’s Great Lakes Region.

Cynthia Starks’ speech is featured in Vital Speeches of the Day.

Michelle Corrao received a Distinguished Hoosier award from Attorney General Greg Zoeller and the Indiana
Criminal Justice Institute.
