Three members of the Cutters bike team at Indiana University were injured Wednesday after a car hit the cyclists. The car struck the three men at about 5 p.m. as they were riding on Indiana 446 near Bloomington. Eric Brodell, 19, suffered a serious leg injury. The other two men were in good condition, with scrapes and bruises. Police say the driver appeared to be going too fast for the wet roads and will likely be ticketed.
