A Connecticut man was arrested Tuesday at Indianapolis International Airport after punching a Transportation Security Administration screener. John Christina, 51, of Simsbury, Conn., was charged with misdemeanor battery after allegedly exchanging words with and then punching the screener at a security check point. Christina said the punch was light and intended to be a joke, not a challenge to the agent's authority or security procedures. He was released from jail on $150 bond and scheduled to appear in Marion Superior Court 10 on Dec. 13.
