Authorities say a person has died as the result of an incident involving a forklift in Plainfield.

Plainfield police captain Jill Lees said officers responded Sunday at about 2:45 p.m. to an Amazon Fulfillment Center at 800 Perry Road and found fire department crews attempting to save the person.

The identity of the person who died wasn't immediately released and an autopsy was planned for Monday. Various media reports said the victim was a man in his 50s.
