STEM group to dole out millions in grants

Project Lead The Way, an Indianapolis not-for-profit that provides experiences in science, technology, engineering and math for students in preschool through high school, on June 4 said it will provide $5.4 million in grants aimed at expanding computer science education in Indiana.

The grants will increase access to hands-on computer science education for Indiana teachers and students and cover program fees and teacher professional development.

All Indiana schools are eligible to apply. Details are available at the Project Lead The Way website.•
