Ron West, a member of the Johnson County Council, has sold Royal Oak Golf Course in Greenwood to locally based Divine Investment Group for an undisclosed price, according to Leading Edge Commercial Real Estate Services, the brokerage firm representing both parties.
The 350-member club, at 2080 S. State Road 135, was owned by R.H. West Management Corp. for 20 years. The course has 117 acres and a 12,000-square-foot club house, and will be kept private, Leading Edge said.
R.H. West Management also owns Cypress Run golf course east of Franklin as well as courses in Indianapolis and Hendricks and Huntington counties.
