  1. So the message is intimidation. It is articulated by Trump and enacted by his supporters. And this is going to make these legislators vote to make sure we all get more of it?

Welcome to the autocratic MAGA vision of America.

    1. Well, yes. They want to be the only party allowed to intimidate. That’s what they want from Making America Great Again – back to the days when they could intimidate people they didn’t like and it was OK.

Remember when everyone agreed and said it was wrong for Charlie Kirk to be assassinated for what he had to say? That speaking your mind shouldn’t lead to your death?

But when Trump says that Democratic lawmakers should be executed for sedition because they say things like … “remember, your oath is to the Constitution, not a President” … all those people who stood up for Charlie Kirk are strangely silent, or worse, they say things like “well actually everything the President says is legal”.

The Republican Party is increasingly indistinguishable from a domestic terrorism organization.

    1. “It is difficult to get a man to understand something when his salary depends on his not understanding it”

    2. Braun does not want to understand it, he is just following orders from Washington on how to run Indiana. He is such a good little foot soldier for Uncle Donald. Then there is Beckwith who is too busy telling local voters not to support better education, he likes them dumb.

  2. They might make a list of the people (if they can identify them) commenting above.
People in office or in power, do not make threats against themselves. The only violence is coming from Left, which one can decipher just by watching the representatives of this party make threats on television. For years “some people” said they didn’t follow Marxism, but the mask is falling off. When “these people” aren’t able to fool the public into voting them into power, they turn to their next weapon, which is to threaten to or actually do violence.
This just isn’t allowed in our system. When I grew up there was always contention between the two political parties but as time has gone on, one party has been taken over by avowed Marxists that basically hate this country and would rather pull it down rather than try to help people. So very sad.

    1. Neil, are you actually trying to claim the left is full of Marxists?

Because we’ve sat here during this Trump administration and watched the government interfere in numerous private businesses and tell them how to operate. Which is … marxism/socialism. The exact thing that we were all told not to vote for Kamala because … that is what she’d bring about.

    2. So Neil – liberals are attacking republicans for doing what the liberals would hope that would do – which is to say not concede to fascism.

This is intense cognitive dissonance. That’s what trump ran on so it makes sense you would get confused here

    3. Make a list. No one in any of the comments is threatening anything, let alone any sort of violence. Your authoritarian scare tactics are useless here, honey. Real Americans value freedom of speech.

Move to Iran or North Korea if you want to live in a country that controls what people can say and prohibits legitimate criticism of the government.

  3. I really dislike Donald Trump as a person and often as a president. But this comments section reveals that TDS is a real phenomenon. Death threats against Republicans? “IT’S ALL TRUMP’S FAULT!!!”

    1. The threats are MOR (MAGA on Republican) threats becuase they won’t give trump what he wants and help to rig the 2026 midterms.

    2. According to trump they aren’t republicans – he literally posted on the internet that these are RINOs and deserve to be removed.

Spend time reading the articles before commenting – it’s a severe issue with the lonely elderly these days

    3. Nice try with the psyops. We all know the “I used to be a Democrat, but I just decided today to become a Republican” routine from Twitter (now billionaire Musk’s “X” propaganda machine), and your post is just a lame variation of it.

Yes, I am so sure you “really dislike Trump,” and I have a bridge in Brooklyn to sell you.

The only derangement syndrome is this nonsense being pushed by Trump and his supporters.
