As a subscriber you can listen to articles at work, in the car, or while you work out. Subscribe NowIndianapolis-based Bier Brewery plans to open a 6,000-square-foot taproom in Noblesville, the company announced Thursday.
The all-ages taproom will be located on four acres of land at 1618 S. 10th St. and serve beer, wine, cold brew coffee, wine slushies and food. It is expected to open in summer 2023. The city said Bier would be making a multimillion investment in the project.
Bier plans to include a dog park, kids’ playground, covered outdoor seating, a private room and a large outdoor green space with bike access to Allisonville Road. It also intends for the taproom to be used as a co-working office space with room to accommodate staff, guests and families.
“Our administration has invested heavily into our city’s gateways, including a new trail and road improvements along the South Tenth Street corridor,” Noblesville Mayor Chris Jensen said in written remarks. “I’m excited for our residents to have Bier Brewery as a new dining and recreation option in this area of the community.”
Jerry and Darren Connor founded Bier Brewery in 2010 as a small-scale nano brewery. The Connor family expanded Bier in 2015 to a 20-barrel system.
Bier currently has 130 beer selections available at its two current locations at 5133 E. 65th St. in Indianapolis and 13720 N. Meridian St. in Carmel. The Noblesville brewery will be the company’s largest taproom.
“We are very excited to be adding our third location in Noblesville,” Ryan Connor, director of sales and distribution for Bier Brewery, said in written remarks. “The city of Noblesville has been a great partner and very welcoming to our ideas and goals. We are anxious to get started as soon as we tie up loose ends.”
