The Indianapolis Colts have expanded their partnership with sports betting and casino partner Caesars Entertainment Inc. as part of an effort to expand live betting services by patrons at Lucas Oil Stadium.

The multiyear agreement includes the addition of the Caesars Sportsbook Lounge inside the stadium, as well as new naming rights for the company. Financial terms were not disclosed.

The lounge replaces the former Blue Room as a place where spectators 21 years and older can go to see games in progress on TVs and view live odds while they place bets from their phone through the Caesars Sportsbook App or other sports gambling apps. Caesars “ambassadors” will be available to help gamblers make their wagers.

The lounge will not include walk-up betting spaces, as such areas inside arenas in Indiana are still prohibited.

Fans are permitted to place bets from their mobile devices anywhere inside Lucas Oil Stadium, but only dedicated areas like the Caesars lounge will feature tickers and other live betting information.

The Caesars space is the first of two areas geared toward sports betting expected to debut inside Lucas Oil Stadium during the 2021 season. The lounge will open on Sunday, Sept. 19, for the Colts’ game against the Los Angeles Rams.

Through the agreement, Caesars also gains naming rights to Lucas Oil Stadium’s south gate, now becoming Caesars South Gate. The deal extends a partnership that makes Harrah’s Hoosier Park Racing & Casino and Indiana Grand Racing & Casino the official casinos of the Colts.

“We’ve been a proud partner with Caesars properties in Indiana for some time now, but this new partnership expands our ability to offer Colts fans a truly unique experience, whether at Lucas Oil Stadium or watching from home on gameday,” said Roger VanDerSnick, chief sales and marketing officer for the Colts, in written remarks.

In announcing the agreement, the Colts emphasized that those with a potential gambling problem should call 1-800-522-4700 or 1-800-994-8448 for help.
