People are free to decide: Games? Cruises? Florida? Inside dining? etc. Potential impacts and risks are clear.
Hopefully, they will leave the roof open. That would help reduce the transmission. There is evidence that leaving windows open – especially when you can develop a cross-ventilation effect – will reduce the amount of time an airborne virus lingers in the air and risks infection.
I agree. However, between 2008 when the stadium opened, and the start of the 2020 season, the roof was only open for 28 of 97 regular season games. Hopefully they take the better ventilation concept seriously and unless it’s gonna rain, keep it open.
Since they never included any drainage facilities to remove storm water from the building and they can’t be confident that more bolts won’t fall onto and injure people if they had to close the roof while fans are present, I’d guess the likelihood of the roof being open won’t increase.
