Trump is happily telling any who will listen that this “is a small price to pay.” Hopefully, we start seeing some “I did that” stickers on pumps across the nation like were made when Biden was president.
The only difference between them is Trump actually did do it.
This kind of uncertainty is why I bought a house where I did. Somewhat walkable (not Broad Ripple or Fountain Square-level of walkable, but I can still get my basic necessities within a 10 minute walk), near three bus lines that all come every 15-30 minutes, and near bike lanes and trails. I have a car, but I can reduce its usage without a severe disruption to my life. We can no longer rely on the stability of government and consistent foreign policy, so contingency is necessary.
