Great….more apartments in Westfield…Someday they will regret the massive growth in apartments….
Given that younger age cohorts cannot afford homes and new apartments feature amenity sets that are far superior to what has been seen in the past, this is not a bad thing.
There are plenty of single family neighborhoods and the apartment boom is concentrated in the area around grand park. The bias against multifamily development is misplaced.
The bigger issue is that a reconfiguration of the 191st/31 interchange may be needed much sooner than later. The traffic is already gridlock in the mornings and is only going to get worse north of Keystone.
Ryan, most of what you wrote was also said about the meadows apartments off 38th and multiple apartment complexes off 38th-42nd and post Rd.
There will be newer and nicer apartments built and then these other apartments will then have to lower their rents in order to continue to attract tenants.
Rea, that is an argument to never build anything as most neighborhoods change over time. Some for the better but many are less desireable 50 years or more later like the Meadows.
