  1. #1: not condoning the insider trading issues here by ex-Congressman Buyer (not while in Congress – allegedly). BUT…
#2: does this mean that there will be indictments on all of the other US Congress members next? Insider trading from our representatives occurs on a regular basis on both sides of the aisle. And you know exactly who those members are that have become wealthy while “serving” in Congress!! Are they next? Of course not. DANG IT…DO WHAT I SAY, NOT WHAT I DO! so says Congress…

    1. +1. It’s a travesty and I wonder why so many can get away with it. Look at some of their stories like Harry Reid and you’ll understand he wasn’t just a lucky investor, and he wasn’t the only one. Others did it through family members so they themselves wouldn’t be implicated. My husband is just a great investor, and he knows the exact time to invest in something LOL. For some it’s a crime and for others it’s not. Explain that to me!

  2. A white collar criminal should be treated like any other convicted thief and do prison time.
No sympathy for someone who had fiduciary duty and abused it.

  3. The spent $1.4M investigating trades that netted him $350K? What about Biden, Pelosi and others?! This 2-tiered justice system has to stop.
