  1. Good luck Indiana OMB – please update this article on how their calculation will be done (or not be done), and how the systems manipulate the data.

  2. I can see a meeting with the big 5 or 6, where they all sit down and agree to set prices so nobody gets undercut, or worse somebody like IU deliberately undercutting the market to drive others out of business. And why use the state average and not the regional average? With such a small pool, it’s too easy to manipulate. I’m pretty sure we will see this issue back again soon.

I think a certificate of need would have been better. There is $4 billion being spent on a new hospital sitting right next to a building that is only a few decades old.

  3. I would like to contact the committee sponsors of this bill to show them in black and white what’s going on. I have multiple correspondence with one of the hospitals, which will prove what a difficulty issue this is to a patient. I need to speak to someone as soon as possible regarding this matter. I file a consumer complaint yesterday with the governor with the Attorney General‘s office. Consumer complaint division. I haven’t heard anything back from them yet. But I need to show this to someone. It is just uncomfortable what they’re doing. Well someone please contact me. 317-506-6770 thank you.
