More busy paperwork to make somebody feel good. Businesses are stressed enough with the amount of paperwork and regulations and just adding more to it isn’t going to help.
Businesses that own or lease buildings of this size hire this stuff out anyways. You could say it’s creating new jobs and good ones as well. Tracking this data and improving building systems can save thousands of dollars.
Rhea P ~ Kneejerk reaction. It shows your lack of understanding about the relationship between energy consumption and the bottom line of a large building’s economics. The mayor is absolutely correct when he says “you can’t control what you don’t measure.” Knowledge, not baseless opinions, is what makes everyone smarter.
Brent shouldn’t it be up to the businesses to determine if they’re operating energy efficiently instead of the government? Are you going to be okay when the government tells you you have to keep your thermostat set at 65 during the winter because they think you’re using too much energy? Stop being a knee-jerk reply
What a joke. I looked at solar on my building. 125k
I pay.17 kwh they pay me .02 to put my power back on the grid. Why would i do that?
Stupid propaganda on solar has everyone so misinformed..
Bust more wasted tax dollars making phoney baloney jobs for report’s no one will read. Im sure some politician kid will land the contract to write a meaningless report for god knows how much money.
+1, more government oversight where none is needed
