  1. The problem is NOT ICE. The problem is our broken immigration system and the open borders advocates.

The vast majority of ICE agents are doing a good job and have shown GREAT SELF RESTRAINT against the rioters and the non peaceful protesters. Amazing self restraint!!

That said, cities such as Indianapolis do need the migrants. The migrants are revitalizing many parts of Indianapolis on the west side and northwest side. Areas that were dying until the migrants came. In fact Indianapolis would be losing population big time without them.

Not only was Indianapolis losing population without the migrants, but so were many small towns throughout the state,

But make no mistake, the cartels and gang members have came here also.
That’s why ICE is needed. The cartels and gang members prey on the migrant communities.

Make no mistake also, that if a Dem wins the next Presidential election, all of Trumps executive orders will be rescinded and the border will be wide open.

Also, ask yourself, why do many of these countries want their poor citizens to migrate here. It’s because of the remittances that the migrants send back. For example, Remittances are the largest or second largest source of income for Mexico which is huge. That’s a big time financial motivation.

There are many other aspects to all of this also that need objective analysis.

    1. Among many issues with your post, why would you care where a worker sends some of their take home pay?

  2. This has been complicated by how the mission has been expanded under Trump. The ” worst of the worst” vs. the administration imposed deportation quotas do not match. If the mission were to only be the worst of the worst then the ICE mission would be a totally different one. As Keith stated, we NEED the good, law abiding immigrants. We are a nation with a lowering birth rate and the the immigrants, as usual, fill a needed roll.

Both parties have historically been guilty of using immigration reform to draw votes, for and against immigrants. Reform and a clear pathway not costing $1 million is long overdue. However congress can’t even agree on a budget, so why would something as tough as this come from this group.

  3. Nice insights Keith and Thomas.

    Reasonable sound feedback.

Another consideration, whatever Boss Hoggset and race baiter Andre say, do the opposite! Two lifetime losers who extort our city…
