  1. It’s still about politics and money, but at least Forestall was diplomatic, civil and responsible with his comments and reasoning. We’ve certainly seen the opposite around the country regarding any subject with ICE involved.

    1. I agree, ICE agents could use lessons in civility in terms of how they engage with the public.

  2. This is ridiculous article. No mention it’s a brand new jail that they just built? No foresight about increasing he number of beds? Who is the author of this article? Talk about bias journalism

    1. Disliking the reality described in an article does not mean the article is biased, it means you are stuck in your echo chamber.

    2. Did you even read the article? It made clear that they built the jail to hold 500 more people than it currently does.

      The same people who claim to be outraged about crime in Marion County should show equal outrage to the state of Indiana not fully reimbursing county jails for the cost of holding state prisoners.
