4 thoughts on “Michigan towns bordering Indiana, Wisconsin vote to ban or limit marijuana shops

  1. And this is why Indiana should stay far away from legalizing marijuana. Not because the plant is evil, but because the business promotes an unhealthy climate in the community.

    1. No, this is why the Indiana Legislature will botch the eventual rollout … because they won’t insist on local ownership, because the folks writing the sweet, sweet campaign contributon checks will insist it won’t work.

They’ll manage to make the current alcohol laws in this state look like smart legislating and not just lawmaking by the highest bidders.

  2. Actually if Indiana legalized the sale there wouldn’t be a proliferation of shops in border towns. The shops would be evenly distributed along supply/demands lines. And Indiana would keep the tax revenue that is currently going to Berrien and other Michigan counties.
