  1. Mike Pence and Joe Biden are probably in the same situation; honorable men who made mistake, unintentionally. Trump on the other hand deliberately took documents he should not have, called them “mine,” refused to return them, then lied and said he did when he had not. His misconduct and lies caused the FBI to get a subpoena and search his home and found more top secret records. After all were produced, even more turned up in a storage locker. He has earned the right to be sued and jailed for his misconduct. He can run his next campaign in an orange suit, from a jail cell.

  2. There needs to be a “chain of custody” process to track the whereabouts of classified documents (the distribution of, the return of, etc.) that applies to everyone who has a clearance to access the written documents – including elected officials and staff. Yet no one is talking about that.

    1. Indeed. It seems too easy for these types of documents to just “disappear” without a trace and then just show up somewhere they allegedly shouldn’t have been.
