  1. Overwhelming victory by Biden? You change less than 100k votes in 4 states and you have a different outcome. You fail to recognize the attempts throughout our government machine to create a Russian conspiracy and failed attempts to deny Brett Kavanaugh a place on the Supreme Court while trying to impeach a sitting President on a controversial phone call. These are what threaten our democracy. I can only hope my college aged daughter doesn’t have to take classes from someone who is so myopic in their views.

  2. Amen, Larry P.; AMEN. But what else would you expect from Comrade Atlas? Is it any wonder colleges and universities graduate so many would-be socialists with “teachers” such as Pierre Atlas?

  3. This “commentary” is an attempt to silence those that have different opinions than the author, who is a charter member of the “cancel culture club”, and a true threat to the First Amendment. Why do so many so-called progressives and liberals believe they are the only individuals entitled to free speech?

Speaking of mayhem, we have already suffered that this year! The mobs and looters actions in many of our nations cities, often condoned by elected mayors, city councils and governors that “looked the other way” in a complicit act of approval, is much more than a “dangerous game”. Property damage aside, people were violently harmed and killed at the hands of out of control mobs sanctioned by blue state politicians and the media, that prevented law enforcement from doing their jobs. This is the real “publicly advocated violence”. Decent citizen’s lives and futures have been ruined or ended. Criminal charges of obstruction of justice should be filed against those government officials.

We have endured four years of a very expensive, failed prosecution of President Trump, but the machine of the left that includes most of the media, fears four months of inquiry about questionable election practices. The left takes no chances. Squash dissent before it can be considered by anyone. Based on the “overwhelming” loss of House seats in the 2020 election, there are many voters that are not buying what you’re selling.

  4. Amazing how everything is the fault of everyone else… remember when the Republican Party was the party of personal responsibility?

Bottom line – Trump cost himself re-election and the blame starts and ends with Trump. Any minimally viable response to the coronavirus. Any attempt at all to “be more presidential” and lead the country. Any attempt at all to hire smart people and listen to their advice, as opposed to hiring people whose primary qualification was fealty to Donald Trump. He failed on all those fronts and it cost him.

If you can’t see that, maybe stop living in the fake news bubble.
