You-review-it Monday: ‘Becky’s New Car,’ burlesque and more

A whirlwind of a weekend for me included Steven Dietz' play "Becky's New Car" at the Indiana Repertory
Theatre and an on-stage conversation with the prolific playwright at the Phoenix Theatre on Sunday (His play "Yankee
Tavern" will be staged there in April.

There was also time for Brent Marty's "That's Brentertainment" cabaret open stage at the Cabaret at the
Columbia Club–which left us wanting more that evening (it had to end near 12:30) and begging for more frequent installments
(the next one isn't on the books until August).

And there was still plenty of time for "Hello, Dolly!" at Beef and Boards and "What Would the Neighbors Think?,"
an evening of burlesque, at the CTI Theatre.

Did our paths cross at any of these? If so, what did you think? (I'll be posting more thoughts here and writing about
some of the above for my weekly column)

And what else did you see, read, or hear this weekend?

Your thoughts?
