Two Indianapolis-based companies have reached incentive agreements with the state's economic development agency to create nearly 50 jobs in total over the next four to five years.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. announced the agreements Thursday morning.

Langham Logistics Inc. said it plans to spend $933,000 to renovate its 306,000-square-foot warehouse and corporate headquarters on Indianapolis’ northwest side, allowing it to handle additional work.

The company, which has 82 employees, said it expects to add another 20 workers before the end of 2018 and has begun hiring for shipping, warehouse and administrative positions.

The IEDC offered Langham up to $89,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $40,000 in training grants based on the job-creation plans.

Meanwhile, SAW Capital LLC, a management services and investment company, plans to renovate and equip its 260,000-square-foot warehouse in the Stout Field Industrial Park on the southwest side.

The facility houses SAW Capital’s headquarters and some of its portfolio companies, including Grocers Supply Co., GS Transportation and Dugdale LLC.

SAW Capital, which has 75 employees, plans to add another 29 workers by the end of 2019 and has begun hiring for information technology, customer service and skilled-processing positions.

The IEDC offered SAW up to $160,000 in conditional tax credits and up to $80,000 in training grants based on the job-creation plans.
