Sheila Kennedy [March 9 Viewpoint] misstated what Sen. Jim Inhofe said. He did not say that the snowball in his hand disproved “climate change.”

The “climate changers” seem to be the “anti-science” people. Their models have been consistently wrong and the recent “pause” in warming despite more CO2 emissions is not explainable for them.

Their movement is fraught with deceit such as the recent proclamation that 2014 was the “warmest year on record.” No one seemed to notice that the study upon which the proclamation was based admitted to less that 40-percent probability that the proclamation was correct.

Now, does human activity affect climate? Quite possibly. But do you believe any course of actions by President Obama and any coalition of world leaders can actually set the world’s temperature?
