OneJet, the company that offers commercial flights aboard corporate-size jets, announced Friday that it will offer nonstop service to Pittsburgh, starting May 11.

Pittsburgh is OneJet's second destination since launching flights to Milwaukee April 6.

OneJet’s flights are the only nonstop service available from Indianapolis to those destinations.

“We believe the market for regional nonstop travel to and from Indianapolis is strong and we’ve put together a network of aviation and technology partners to respond to that demand,” OneJet CEO Matt Maguire said at an airport press conference.

“Our goal is to provide our customers with a familiar airline experience but in a way that allows us to allocate our assets dynamically in response to demand. The combination means more choice for travelers to and from Indianapolis and—we believe—throughout the eastern U.S.”

Though the company uses eight-seat Hawker 400 aircraft,  flights can be booked through typical commercial service channels, including Expedia. Expedia lists the cost for a round-trip ticket to and from Milwaukee on May 12 as $678.20.

The Pittsburgh flights will be offered four times a week, Monday through Thursday. Departure from Indianapolis is at 7 a.m., and the return from Pittsburgh is at 5 p.m.

Indianapolis International Airport has enjoyed recent success landing new routes. Allegiant Travel, a newcomer to the airport, has launched flights to leisure destinations, and Southwest Airlines has expanded its routes targeting business tranvelers.
