Though the game is long over, the tally for Tuesday’s Indiana Pacers home game against the red-hot Golden State Warriors is still coming in.

New York-based Nielsen Media Research reported the rating for the game was the highest for a regular season Pacers game on Fox Sports Indiana since the April 11, 2014 match-up against the Miami Heat.

The Pacers-Warriors game scored a 6.4 rating—more than central Indiana 65,000 households—according to Nielsen. The Warriors high-scoring Steph Curry was no doubt a big draw as was Golden State’s record winning streak. With their win over the Pacers Tuesday, Golden State improved to 23-0.

The game was also the most streamed game to date on the Fox Sports Go app, according to Fox Sports officials. The number of unique streams of Pacers game on the Fox Sports Go app this season is up 100 percent, according to Fox Sports.

Pacers TV ratings on Fox Sports Indiana are up 22 percent compared to the same point last season, according to Nielsen, and are on pace to be the team’s second highest TV ratings in the last decade.

Pacers games on Fox Sports Indiana are averaging a 3.4 rating (37,000 households) through 20 games, according to Nielsen.  Last year through 20 games the rating was 2.8.

Last year, the Pacers saw a double-digit decrease in its TV rating as the team struggled to make the playoffs.

This year, fans seem to be responding positively to the Pacers overhauled roster, which has made the blue and gold a fast-paced, offensive-minded team.

At 12-8, the Pacers are in fifth place in the Eastern Conference and in a strong position to make the playoffs. Last year, the team finished ninth in the East, missing the playoffs by one place.
