The Indiana Debate Commission has set dates for two U.S. Senate debates this fall, and tickets are now available for the one in Indianapolis.
The candidates for Indiana’s U.S. Senate seat—Democratic incumbent Joe Donnelly, Republican Mike Braun and Libertarian Lucy Brenton—agreed to participate in two debates. The general election is on Nov. 6.
The race is expected to be one of the most watched in the country, with millions of dollars in outside spending flowing into the state. Republicans see it as an opportunity to dethrone Donnelly in a state that President Donald Trump won in 2016.
The first debate will be Oct. 8 in northwest Indiana, but the exact time and location have not been finalized yet.
The second debate is scheduled for 7 p.m., Oct. 30, at the Toby Theater at Newfields in Indianapolis, the commission announced Tuesday morning.
Both debates will be aired on C-SPAN and livestreamed on the commission’s website.
The commission is offering up to 450 public tickets for the Indianapolis debate, with a limit of two tickets per person. Audience members also must agree to the nonpartisan commission’s rules for attending the debate. Tickets can be obtained here.
Moderators for the debates have not been announced yet.
