How about important things like passing a law to remove class basketball in Indiana…
I’m waiting for the first candidate to promise rolling back DST and class basketball.
Why not eliminate property tax for primary residential property for 65 and older?
👍
Also a gimmick …
Was disappointed that Crouch’s idea for traction with Republican primary voters was something stolen from the First Book of Dumb Ideas of Don Rainwater.
“Crouch has said the loss of revenue could be offset by examining inefficiencies in state government”
Third graders are going to held back in Indiana for less, and that’s a statement so silly that a court of law might find it probable cause for a drug or DUI test on a suspect.
Hill has no chance. When people see him they think of his legal issues.
Doden is a less experienced version of Braun and all Braun has proven is that just because you’re a successful businessman, it doesn’t always translate to governing.
Its going to come down to which one of Doden, Braun, and Chambers is willing to throw enough money at campaign ads to buy the right to demolish McCormick by 20 points in the general election.
While we’re at it, let’s burn another billon dollars on IEDC’s nonsensical LEAP district.
It’s an attempt to create Indiana’s version of the Research Triangle Park in North Carolina.
Will it be successful? Only time will tell. But at least it’s an attempt to do something bold and not the same old, same old in Indiana.
Joe,
That may be how it is sold, but as with any government entity the devil is in the details! As their IEDC website states there is a big UN sustainability component and elimination of property rights through the carbon capture pipeline.
I suspect they’re going after companies that consider such things required parts of locating here.
We can’t just be the place for distribution centers. Those are overbuilt.
