  1. Smart choice. His district is rapidly getting much more blue (and the Legislature is even looking to change maps for IGA seats).

Even if Walker were to hold off a MAGA primary challenger, he’d probably lose to a Democrat. Not worth the grey hairs.

Alas, he gets my kudos for pledging to make the morally correct choice on congressional map redistricting.

    1. Joe, that’s a tired troupe. Whoever is not getting their way on any given issue thinks their dissenting party is a RINO!!
John Jacob thinks the same way you do. HE is the ONLY real republican in the State and everyone else is a RINO!
Same with Democrats and Republicans on Kings! and Tyrants!
You and Al Sharpton don’t like Trump, so he is a King! or Fascist!
Jacob thinks anyone who disagrees with him screaming at strangers on the sidewalk, is a Tyrant!!

    2. What about today’s Republican Party is actually Republican, Chuck?

      Today’s “Republican” Party is pro-tariff, pro-socialism … while being anti-science and anti-life.

There is increasingly nothing worth saving. Which makes sense since … everything Donald Trump has touched in his life has ended up the worst for his involvement.

  2. Great Decision! – I just drove a Chinese BYD hybrid last week in the UK and got 60mpg in a mid-size SUV. I’m sure we can export millions of our Chevy’s and Jeeps to the whole world because because any thinking person with a brain Cleary prefers to get the fewest miles per gallon consume more fuel and pay higher prices. Yeah, right! Good luck with that, suckers, if this is what you voted for (eye-roll).

  3. The real irony here is who is he afraid of? The congressional districts have nothing to do with the state senate or house districts, they remain the same. Apparently he’s confused and contrived by both his Dem and GOP constituents, and doesn’t want to face either side with his vote on the redistricting.
We used to call that no backbone and no political commitment on the hard subjects. . His stance here seems to be I can’t face any controversy so I’m quitting. Apparently it is a time for a change.
