The Indy Votes initiative was a nice first step. I was able to vote during my lunch time at a local firehouse. It was a seamless experience. Thanks for this!!!
There is nothing wrong with making it easier to vote (on Election DAY- not one month before!) but more needs to be done to see that voters are educated about WHO they are voting for, and not voting because of party, race, gender, or sexual preference.
If voters aren’t interested in educating themselves or making the effort,
( even if it means they have to make the extra effort ), do really want them to
vote? People need to see voting being important enough to study the candidates
and the issues. They should also be willing to make that extra effort.
