6.7 million people in Indiana.
They claim 3000 Covid deaths. Indy Star claims 68% are nursing home patients. So we ruin our economy for under 1000 deaths among 6.7 million?
Apparently our leaders aren’t good at using data to make decisions.
The CDC updated the provisional counts on deaths that have occurred from COVID-19 on Aug. 26, and in the section on comorbidities, they revealed that only 6% of the deaths were caused by just the virus.
Might it be a propgandemic!
Steve, the 6% report is terribly misleading without context. It has been reported since the beginning of the pandemic that people who die from COVID-19 almost always have other health conditions. That applies to many health-related causes of death. A large percentage of people who die of cancer are actually killed by pneumonia or sepsis or another health issue. The cause of death is still listed as cancer.
