Storytelling update + A&E on the air

October 23, 2009

--I'll be hosting two hours of call-in radio on WIBC Saturday evening from 8-10 p.m. There's no set subject matter, but I'm interested in sparking some conversation about when imagination crosses the line, opening the door to discussion about everything from "Where the Wild Things Are" and Balloon Boy to "Shipwrecked!" and movie biographies that stretch the truth. Hope you can join in the discussion.

-- In my weekly e-mail blast, I offered the wrong link to Storytelling Arts' presentation this weekend. Here's a repeat of the item with the correct connection:

Patrick Ball

Oct 25

Basile Theater at the Indiana History Center

Most storytelling events are just a person telling a story (not that that's a bad thing at all). But Patrick Ball, a Storytelling Arts favorite, is bringing his band, Medieval Beasts, along with him for this performance built on the legend of Tristan and Iseult. For details, click here.
