For thirty years, one of the most familiar faces on Indianapolis stages has been Priscilla Lindsay.
Unfortunately for Indy audiences, that will no longer be the case as the Indiana Repertory Theatre's Associate Artistic Director--and one of its most prolific actresses and directors--has accepted an offer to chair the Department of Theatre and Drama at the University of Michigan.
She graduated from that school in 1971 with a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre and picked up a Masters there the following year.
Lindsay has been involved in more than 80 productions at the IRT, including showcase roles in "Shirley Valentine" and "Doubt." She also directed "The Year of Magical Thinking," "Romeo and Juliet" and ten seasons of "A Christmas Carol."
She will be missed.
